SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT
The authors are requested to submit an abstract of a maximum of 300 words in Microsoft Word document, Font style – Italic, Times New Roman, 12 Font Size, and single line spacing. The abstract may include keywords between 3 to 5. The abstract must include a clear indication of the objectives, research problem, methodology, findings, concluding remarks, and key references. The last day for abstract submission is 31.07.2023 before 11.59 p.m. Sri Lanka time (IST). Abstracts should be sent via [email protected] The sub-theme of the abstract should be mentioned in the subject field. The body of the email should contain the following details: The sub-theme, title, name of the author(s), author affiliation(s), contact details (email address/es and phone number/s) of the author(s), and the type of submission. Authors whose abstracts are selected will be informed of the same shortly after the submission.
Authors have to fill the abstract submission form online, at the time of submission.

REVIEW AND
ACCEPTANCE
All abstract will be peer-reviewed and only those abstracts approved by the reviewers will be selected for full paper submission and final presentation. The acceptance notification will be sent to the author within three weeks of the submission. The last acceptance notification will be sent within three weeks of the submission deadline. The decision of the organizing committee will be final.
The authors whose abstracts are selected must pay the registration fees to obtain a time slot from the programme to present the papers. (for details about registration and fees refer to registration)

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION
Accepted abstract can be developed into a full paper. Authors should follow the guidelines below to send the full paper. The abstract should be on the first page including the name of the author(s), the title of the paper, the author(s) affiliation, and contact details of the author(s). The word limit is between 3000 and 5000. Font style – Times New Roman, Font size – 12 with one line spacing. Referencing – OSCOLA, Margins – 1 inch on each side. Paper size – A4. Selected full papers will be published in a special volume of the KDU International Journal of Criminal Justice by December 2023.

There is no restriction on the number of co-authors. If there is a co-author(s) they will have to mandatorily and separately register themselves by paying registration fees. At least one person among the co-author must be present at the conference for presenting the paper.

The 2023 ACS conference is only an in-person meeting and does not offer online participation.
